حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to say after the tashahhud: “O God, I seek refuge with You from the punishment of Hell, and I seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the trial of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death.”
