حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ يَسْبِقُ الْقَدَرَ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ وَإِذَا اسْتُغْسِلْتُمْ فَاغْتَسِلُوا»
Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “The evil eye is real. If anything could outstrip destiny, the evil eye would do so. And if you are asked to wash (for it), then wash.”
