حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓماُ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ كَذَّبَنِي ابْنُ آدَمَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبَنِي وَشَتَمَنِي وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ ذَلِكَ فَأَمَّا تَكْذِيبُهُ إِيَّايَ فَزَعْمُهُ أَنِّي لَا أَقْدِرُ أَنْ أُعِيدَهُ كَمَا كَانَ وَأَمَّا شَتْمُهُ إِيَّايَ فَيَقُولُ لِي وَلَدٌ سُبْحَانِي مِنْ أَنْ أَتَّخِذَ صَاحِبَةً أَوْ وَلَدًا

✧ Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: Allah, Exalted is He, said: “The son of Adam belied Me, though it was not proper for him to belie Me, and he reviled Me, though it was not proper for him to do that. As for his belying Me, it is his claim that I am not able to recreate him as he was. As for his reviling Me, he says I have a son. Glorified am I above taking a consort or a son.”
