حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَازِنِيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الشَّقَرِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اشْتَرُوا الرَّقِيقَ وَشَارِكُوهُمْ فِي أَرْزَاقِهِمْ يَعْنِي كَسْبَهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالزَّنْجَ؛ فَإِنَّهُ قَصِيرَةٌ أَعْمَارُهُمْ قَلِيلَةٌ أَرْزَاقُهُمْ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Buy slaves and share with them in their provisions, meaning their earnings. Beware of the Zanj, for their lifespans are short and their provisions are little.”
