حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْمُسَاوِرِ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ النَّطَّاحِ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ عَلِيٍّ دَارَهُ فَحَدَّثَنَا عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓماُ قَالَ
كَانَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ مَجْلِسٌ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا يَقُومُ عَنْهُ إِلَّا لِلْعَبَّاسِ وَكَانَ يَسُرُّ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَقْبَلَ الْعَبَّاسُ يَوْمًا فَزَالَ لَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا لَكَ؟» فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَمُّكَ قَدْ أَقْبَلَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ مُبْتَسِمًا فَقَالَ هَذَا الْعَبَّاسُ قَدْ أَقْبَلَ وَعَلَيْهِ ثِيَابٌ بَيَاضٌ وَسَيَلْبَسُ وَلَدُهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ السَّوَادَ وَيَمْلِكُ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ رَجُلًا

✧ Abu Bakr ؓ had a seat near the Prophet ﷺ from which he would not rise except for al-ʿAbbas, and that pleased the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. One day al-ʿAbbas approached, so Abu Bakr moved aside from his seat for him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: “What is the matter with you?” He said: “O Messenger of Allah, your uncle has approached.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at him, then turned to Abu Bakr smiling and said: “This al-ʿAbbas has approached wearing white garments, and his descendants after him will wear black, and twelve men from among them will rule.”
