حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ
ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ نُبَيْطٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ثنا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ قَالَ مَرَّ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ بِقَاصٍّ فَرَكَلَهُ بِرِجْلِهِ فَقَالَ تَدْرِي النَّاسِخَ مِنَ الْمَنْسُوخِ؟ قَالَ وَمَا النَّاسِخُ مِنَ الْمَنْسُوخِ؟ قَالَ مَا تَدْرِي النَّاسِخَ مِنَ الْمَنْسُوخِ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ هَلَكْتَ وَأَهْلَكْتَ

✧ Salamah b. Nubayt al-Ashjaʿī narrated to us: al-Ḍaḥḥāk b. Muzāḥim narrated to us, saying: Ibn ʿAbbās passed by a storyteller and kicked him with his foot, saying: “Do you know the abrogating from the abrogated?” He said: “And what is the abrogating from the abrogated?” He said: “You do not know the abrogating from the abrogated?” He said: “No.” He said: “You have perished and caused others to perish.”
