حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْحَدَّادُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الطَّوِيلُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ عَنْ زَاذَانَ قَالَ قَالَ
عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الْأُولَى وَالْعَصْرِ وَبَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «صَنَعْتُهُ لِئَلَّا تَكُونَ أُمَّتِي فِي حَرَجٍ»

✧ Abdullah b. Mas'ud said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined Dhuhr and ʿAsr, and Maghrib and ʿIsha; so it was said to him (why), and he said: "I did it so that my ummah may not be in hardship."
