حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ وَماهرُ بْنُ نُوحٍ قَالَا ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَوَّلَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ وَآخِرَهُمْ شِرَارُهُمْ مُخْتَلِفِينَ مُتَفَرِّقِينَ فَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَأْتِهِ مَنِيَّتُهُ وَهُوَ يَأْتِي إِلَى النَّاسِ مَا يُحِبُّ أَنْ يُؤْتَى إِلَيْهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The first of this ummah are its best, and the last of them are its worst, differing and divided. So whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, then let his death come to him while he treats people as he would love to be treated."
