حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَذْكِرُوا الْقُرْآنَ؛ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا وَبِئْسَمَا لِأَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Keep revising the Qurʾān, for it escapes from the hearts of men more quickly than camels escape from their hobbles. How bad it is for any of you to say, "I forgot such-and-such a verse," when in fact he was made to forget.'
