حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَسَدِيُّ ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ ابْنَةٌ فَأَدَّبَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ أَدَبَهَا وَعَلَّمَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَعْلِيمَهَا وَأَوْسَعَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ نِعَمِ اللهِ الَّتِي أَسْبَغَ عَلَيْهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ مَنَعَةً وَسُتْرَةً مِنَ النَّارِ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'Whoever has a daughter and disciplines her well, teaches her well, and gives her generously from the blessings of God that He has bestowed upon him, she will be a protection and a shield for him from the Fire.'
