حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السُّدِّيُّ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَذِيمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمَّا أَخَذُوا بِالْمَعَاصِي نَهَاهُمْ عُلَمَاؤُهُمْ فَلَمْ يَنْتَهُوا فَجَالَسُوهُمْ وَوَاصَلُوهُمْ فَضَرَبَ اللهُ قُلُوبَ بَعْضِهِمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ» فَقَالَ {لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ} الْآيَةَ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: “When the Children of Israel took to acts of disobedience, their scholars forbade them, but they did not desist. Then they sat with them and associated with them, so Allah struck their hearts one upon another.” Then he said: {Those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel were cursed}—the verse.
