حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ بَذِيمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمَّا عَمِلُوا بِالْمَعَاصِي نَهَاهُمْ قُرَّاؤُهُمْ وَعُلَمَاؤُهُمْ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ فَعَصَوْهُمْ فَخَالَطُوهُمْ فِي مَعَايِشِهِمْ فَضَرَبَ قُلُوبَ بَعْضِهِمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ ثُمَّ لَعَنَهُمْ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُدَ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ» ثُمَّ جَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ مُتَّكِئًا ثُمَّ قَالَ «كَلَّا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ حَتَّى تَأْطُرُوهُمْ عَلَى الْحَقِّ أَطْرًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When the Children of Israel acted in disobedience, their reciters and scholars forbade them from what they were doing, but they disobeyed them. Then they mixed with them in their livelihoods, and Allah struck their hearts one upon another, then He cursed them on the tongue of Dawud and Isa son of Maryam.” Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat up, having been reclining, and said: “No, by the One in whose hand is my soul, until you bend them to the truth completely.”
