حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ الْخَزَّازُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ وَالْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّهَا سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يُمِيتُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيَخْنُقُونَهَا إِلَى شَرَقِ الْمَوْتَى وَإِنَّهَا صَلَاةُ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مِنْ حِمَارٍ وَصَلَاةُ مَنْ لَا يَجِدُ بُدًّا فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْكُمْ ذَلِكَ الزَّمَانَ فَلْيَجْعَلِ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَاجْعَلُوا صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ سُبْحَةً»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: «There will be rulers who kill the prayer and strangle it to the point of the death rattle; indeed it is the prayer of one worse than a donkey, and the prayer of one who finds no alternative. Whoever of you reaches that time, let him perform the prayer at its proper time, and make your prayer with them a supererogatory one.»
