حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
كُنَّا نَتَكَلَّمُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يُسَلِّمُ بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يُحْدِثُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ مَا شَاءَ وَقَدْ أَحْدَثَ أَنْ لَا تَكَلَّمُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ We used to speak during the prayer, some of us greeting others. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Allah ﷻ brings about in His command whatever He wills, and He has now brought about that you should not speak during the prayer."
