حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ السِّخْتِيَانِيُّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ صَبْرٍ مُتَعَمِّدًا لِيَقْطَعَ مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَقِيَ اللهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ» وَقَرَأَ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا} الْآيَةَ رَفَعَهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Whoever swears a solemn oath deliberately to seize the property of a Muslim unjustly will meet God on the Day of Resurrection while He is angry with him.” Then he recited, “Indeed, those who purchase a small price with the covenant of God and their oaths…” [Al ʿImran 3:77]. Yazid b. Ibrahim traced it back to the Prophet, but Hammad b. Zayd did not trace it back.
