حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْبَرَاءُ ثنا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رُقْيَةٌ مِنَ الْحُمَةِ فَقَالَ «اعْرِضُوهَا عَلَيَّ» فَعَرَضُوهَا عَلَيْهِ بِسْمِ اللهِ شجة قرنية ملحة بحر قفطا فَقَالَ «هَذِهِ مَوَاثِيقُ أَخَذَهَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى الْهَوَامِّ وَلَا أَرَى بِهَا بَأْسًا»

✧ A ruqya for fever was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: “Present it to me.” They presented it: “In the name of Allah, a cleft, a horned, a salty, a sea, Qifta.” He said: “These are covenants which Sulayman b. Dawud ﷺ took upon the vermin, and I see no harm in it.”
