حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْبَاءَةِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ أَحْصَنُ لِلْفَرْجِ وَأَغَضُّ لِلْبَصَرِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O young people, marry, for it is the best way to guard one's chastity and lower one's gaze. Whoever is not able to marry, then he should observe fasting, for it will be a shield for him."
