حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّحْوِيُّ الصُّورِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَرْطَأَةَ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ الْمُهَاصِرِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنْ أَسَدِ بْنِ كُرْزٍ قَالَ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا أَسَدُ بْنَ كُرْزٍ لَا تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بِعَمَلٍ وَلَكِنْ بِرَحْمَةِ اللهِ» قُلْتُ وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا أَنَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَلَافَانِي اللهُ أَوْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'O Asad b. Kurz, you will not enter Paradise by your deeds, but by the mercy of Allah.' I said, 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Not even I, unless Allah encompasses me or covers me with mercy from Him.'
