حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْقَسْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ الثُّمَالِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَتْ:

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ نِسَاءَ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ قَدْ أَقَمْنَ مَأْتَمَهُنَّ عَلَى الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ! فَأَذِنَ لَهَا، فَقَالَتْ وَهِيَ تَبْكِيهِ: وَأَبْكِي الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَهْ أَبْكِي الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ أَخَا الْعَشِيرَهْ

✧ O Messenger of God, the women of Banū Makhzūm have held mourning for al-Walīd b. al-Mughīrah. He gave her permission, and she said, weeping for him: “I weep for al-Walīd b. al-Walīd b. al-Mughīrah, I weep for al-Walīd b. al-Walīd, brother of the clan.”
