✧ A man passed by the Prophet ﷺ, and the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw his strength and energy and were impressed. They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, if only this were in the path of Allah!' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If he is striving for his young children, then he is in the path of Allah. If he went out striving for elderly parents, then he is in the path of Allah. If he went out striving for himself to keep himself chaste, then he is in the path of Allah. If he went out striving for his family, then he is in the path of Allah. But if he went out striving for pride and hoarding, then he is in the path of falsehood.'
