حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْكِلَابِيُّ أَبُو مُلَيْلٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي حَمَّادٍ الْمُقْرِي، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الصَّائِغِ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي فِيكُمْ كَمَثَلِ سَفِينَةِ نُوحٍ مَنْ رَكِبَهَا نَجَا، وَمَنْ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْهَا غَرِقَ، وَإِنَّمَا مَثَلُ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي فِيكُمْ مَثَلُ بَابِ حِطَّةٍ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مَنْ دَخَلَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ

Translation

✧ The likeness of my Ahl al-Bayt among you is like the ark of Nuh: whoever boards it is saved, and whoever stays behind drowns. And the likeness of my Ahl al-Bayt among you is like the Gate of Hittah among the Children of Israel: whoever enters it is forgiven.
