حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَعْلَمُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ وَحُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ:

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ، وَحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ، قَالَ: وَأَيُّ النَّاسِ شَرٌّ ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ وَسَاءَ عَمَلُهُ
