حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الشَّعِيرِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ الطَّائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'My father is an old man who is unable to perform the Hajj. Shall I perform it on his behalf?' He said: 'Yes, perform Hajj on behalf of your father.'
