حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، عَنْ تُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى حَيٍّ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ، فَإِذَا جَوَارِي يَضْرِبْنَ بِالدُّفِّ، وَيَقُلْنَ: نَحْنُ قَيْنَاتُ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ، فَحَبَّذَا مُحَمَّدٌ مِنْ جَارٍ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: اللهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ قَلْبِي يُحِبُّكُمْ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by a neighborhood of Banū al-Najjār, and there were young girls beating the duff and saying: “We are singing girls of Banū al-Najjār; how excellent is Muḥammad as a neighbor!” The Prophet ﷺ said: “God knows that my heart loves you.”
