حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَزْهَرَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي شَبِيبُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، وَمَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ يَصْدُقُ، وَيَتَحَرَّى الصِّدْقَ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ عِنْدَ اللهِ صِدِّيقًا، وَلَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ يَكْذِبُ وَيَتَحَرَّى الْكَذِبَ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ عِنْدَ اللهِ كَذَّابًا
