حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ مَرْدُوَيْهِ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ:

دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَنَا صَبِيُّ يَشْتَكِي، فَقَالَ: مَا لَهُ ؟، فَقُلْنَا: اتَّهَمْنَا بِهِ الْعَيْنَ، فَقَالَ: أَلَا تَسْتَرْقُونَ لَهُ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ ؟

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us while a young boy with us was complaining. He said: “What is wrong with him?” We said: “We suspected the evil eye in his case.” He said: “Will you not seek ruqya for him from the evil eye?”
