حَدَّثَنَا حَكِيمُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمُتُونِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدِينِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to pray while carrying Umamah bt. Abi al-'As b. al-Rabi', and she was the daughter of Zaynab bt. the Messenger of God ﷺ. When he bowed, he would put her down, and when he stood, he would carry her, until he finished his prayer.
