حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الْعَكِّيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ اللَّيْثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضَ، فَأَلْبِسُوهَا أَحْيَاءَكُمْ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ، وَإِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدَ، وَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ

✧ Among the best of your garments is white, so clothe your living in it and shroud your dead in it. And among the best of your kohl is ithmid; it clears the sight and makes the hair grow.
