✧ Shall I not teach you the words that Musa ﷺ spoke when he crossed the sea with the Children of Israel? We said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: Say: O Allah, to You belongs praise, and to You complaint is made, and You are the One whose help is sought, and there is no might and no power except with Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent. Abdullah said: I have not left them since I heard them from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Shaqiq said: I have not left them since I heard them from Abdullah. Al-A'mash said: I have not left them since I heard them from Shaqiq. Al-A'mash said: Then someone came to me in a dream and said: O Sulayman, add to these words: And we seek Your help against corruption in us, and we ask You for the righteousness of all our affairs.
