حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ التَّمِيمِيُّ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ سِقْلَابٍ، عَنِ الْوَازِعِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ؓ قَالَ:

كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ قَدْ تَوَضَّأَ وَفِي قَدَمِهِ مَوْضِعٌ لَمْ يُصِبْهُ الْمَاءُ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: اذْهَبْ فَأَتِمَّ وُضُوءَكَ. فَفَعَلَ

✧ I was sitting with the Messenger of God ﷺ when a man came who had performed ablution but had missed a spot on his foot that the water did not reach. The Prophet ﷺ said: Go and complete your ablution. So he did.
