حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوَارِبِيُّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الرَّجُلُ يَكُونُ حَامِيَةَ الْقَوْمِ، وَيَدْفَعُ عَنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، أَيَكُونُ نَصِيبُهُ مِثْلَ نَصِيبِ غَيْرِهِ ؟ فَقَالَ: ثَكِلَتْكَ أُمُّكَ ابْنَ أُمِّ سَعْدٍ، وَهَلْ تُرْزَقُونَ وَتُنْصَرُونَ إِلَّا بِضُعَفَائِكُمْ ؟
