حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنَخَّلِ الْحَارِثِيُّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، نَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:

أُهْدِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ طَائِرٌ، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ ائْتِنِي بِأَحَبِّ خَلْقِكَ إِلَيَّ يَأْكُلْ مَعِي مِنْ هَذَا الطَّائِرِ، فَجَاءَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ

✧ A bird was gifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: “O Allah, bring to me the most beloved of Your creation to You, to eat with me from this bird.” Then Ali b. Abi Talib came.
