✧ Wathila b. al-Hasan al-'Araqi

حَدَّثَنَا وَاثِلَةُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثَنَا كَثِيرٌ، ثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:

بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً كُنْتُ فِيهَا، فَبَلَغَتْ سُهْمَانُنَا لِلرَّجُلِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا، وَنَفَّلَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ dispatched a detachment in which I was present. Our shares reached twelve camels per man, and the Messenger of God ﷺ gave us an additional camel each after that.
