وَبِهِ: قَالَ: ذَكَرَ زَمْعَةُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ إِلَّا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ حَرِيرَةٌ مُعَقَّدَةٌ، فَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ، وَقَامَ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَيُصَلِّي، حُلَّتِ الْعُقَدُ، وَإِنِ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَلَمْ يَحْمَدِ اللهَ، قَالَ لَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ: عَلَيْكَ لَيْلٌ طَوِيلٌ، ارْقُدْ، فَيَعْقِدُ الشَّيْطَانُ عَلَيْهِ الْحَرِيرَ

Translation

✧ There is no servant but has on his head a knotted thread. When he wakes up, praises God, stands, performs ablution, and prays, the knots are undone. If he wakes up and does not praise God, Satan says to him: 'You have a long night ahead; sleep,' and Satan ties the thread upon him.
