✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ in the year of the conquest say: "God has forbidden the sale of wine, dead animals, pigs, and idols." It was said: O Messenger of God, what about the fat of dead animals? It is used to grease ships, grease leather, and people use it for lamps. He said: "It is forbidden." Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said at that: "May God curse the Jews. God forbade them fat, but they rendered it, then sold it and consumed its price."
