حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ. عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقُلْتُ: عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا يَنْفَعُنِي. فَقَالَ: إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ، فَاقْرَأْ: قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

✧ I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying: 'Teach me something that will benefit me.' He said: 'When you lie down to sleep, recite: "Qul yā ayyuhā al-kāfirūn" (Sūrat al-Kāfirūn), for it is a disavowal of shirk.'
