حَدَّثَنَا مِقْدَامٌ: ثَنَا أَسَدٌ: نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْوَازِعِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَائِطًا مِنْ حِيطَانِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ بُسْرًا أَخْضَرَ، فَقَالَ: كُلْ يَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ "، قُلْتُ: مَا أَشْتَهِيهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: " مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ ؟ إِنَّهُ لَأَوَّلُ طَعَامٍ أَكَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُنْذُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍ

✧ I entered with the Prophet ﷺ into one of the gardens of Madinah, and he began eating green unripe dates. He said: 'Eat, O Ibn Umar.' I said: 'I do not desire it, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'You do not desire it? It is the first food the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has eaten in four days.'
