✧ I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a need outside Madinah. He passed by a well from which water was drawn, and said: 'The owner of this well will carry it on the Day of Resurrection if he does not give its due.' Then he came upon some sheep and said: 'The owner of these sheep will have such-and-such done to him if he does not give their due.' Then he came upon some camels and said the like. I said: O Messenger of Allah, which wealth is best? He said: 'There is no good in wealth.' I said: Then what will sustain us? He said: 'A servant who serves you; when he prays, he is your brother. Or your horse upon which you fight in jihad.'
