حَدَّثَنَا مِقْدَامٌ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ نِزَارٍ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

وَالَّذِي بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ لَا يُعَذِّبُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ رَحِمَ الْيَتِيمَ، وَلَانَ لَهُ فِي الْكَلَامِ، وَرَحِمَ يُتْمَهُ وَضَعْفَهُ، وَلَمْ يَتَطَاوَلْ عَلَى جَارِهِ بِفَضْلِ مَا آتَاهُ اللهُ ". وَقَالَ: " يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَالَّذِي بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَدَقَةً مِنْ رَجُلٍ وَلَهُ قَرَابَةٌ مُحْتَاجُونَ إِلَى صَدَقَتِهِ، وَيَصْرِفُهَا إِلَى غَيْرِهِمْ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ “By the One who sent me with the truth, God will not punish on the Day of Resurrection one who has mercy on the orphan, speaks gently to him, shows compassion for his orphanhood and weakness, and does not look down on his neighbor because of the favor God has given him.” And he said: “O community of Muhammad, by the One who sent me with the truth, God will not accept on the Day of Resurrection charity from a man who has needy relatives and diverts it to others instead of them. By the One in whose hand is my soul, God will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”
