حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبٌ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّمْلِيُّ: ثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، بِمَا تُوتِرُ ؟ قَالَ: " بِـ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ

✧ I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, with what do you perform Witr?' He said, 'With "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Sabbihisma Rabbika al-A'la), "Say: O disbelievers" (Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun), and "Say: He is Allah, [who is] One" (Qul huwa Allahu ahad).'
