حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبٌ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حُمْرَانَ، عَنْ لَقِيطِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
شَرُّ النَّاسِ الضَّيِّقُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَكَيْفَ يَكُونُ ضَيِّقًا عَلَى أَهْلِهِ ؟ قَالَ: " الرَّجُلُ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ خَشَعَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ، وَهَرَبَ وَلَدُهُ، وَفَرَّ عَبْدُهُ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ ضَحِكَتُ امْرَأَتُهُ، وَاسْتَأْنَسَ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ

✧ The worst of people is the one who is harsh with his family. They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, how is he harsh with his family?' He said, 'When the man enters his house, his wife becomes subdued, his child runs away, and his servant flees. When he leaves, his wife smiles and his household becomes cheerful.'
