✧ The example of the one who strives in the path of Allah is like the example of the devout worshipper standing in prayer who does not slacken from fasting or prayer until he returns. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one is wounded in the path of Allah—and Allah knows best who is wounded in His path—except that he will come on the Day of Resurrection with the color the color of blood and the scent the scent of musk. By the One in whose hand is my soul, I wish that I could be killed in the path of Allah, then brought to life, then killed in the path of Allah, then brought to life, then killed.' Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said it three times.
