حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبٌ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْزِعُ الْعِلْمَ مِنْكُمْ بَعْدَمَا أَعْطَاكُمُوهُ انْتِزَاعًا، وَلَكِنْ يَقْبِضُ الْعُلَمَاءَ بِعِلْمِهِمْ، وَيَبْقَى النَّاسُ جُهَّالًا فَيُسْأَلُوا فَيُفْتُونَ فَيَضِلُّونَ وَيُضِلُّونَ

✧ God does not take away knowledge from you after giving it to you by snatching it away, but He takes the scholars with their knowledge, and the people remain ignorant, so they are asked and they give legal opinions, and they go astray and lead others astray.
