حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، وَهُوَ يَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَهُ عَاشِرَ عَشَرَةٍ، فَقَالَ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَعُمَرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَعُثْمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَعَلِيٌّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَطَلْحَةُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " وَإِنْ أَشَأْ أَخْبَرْتُكُمْ بِالتَّاسِعِ. فَقَالَ الْقَوْمُ: مَنْ هُوَ يَا سَعِيدُ ؟ فَقَالَ: هُوَ أَنَا، ثُمَّ بَكَى

✧ He heard Sa'id b. Zayd testify about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he was with him as the tenth of ten. He said: 'Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, 'Ali is in Paradise, Talhah is in Paradise, al-Zubayr is in Paradise, 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf is in Paradise, Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas is in Paradise.' And if I wish, I will tell you the ninth. The people said: 'Who is he, O Sa'id?' He said: 'He is me.' Then he wept.
