وَبِهِ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ تَوْبَةَ بْنِ نَمِرٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ:

أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ فِي وَصِيَّتِهِ سِتَّةَ أَرْؤُسٍ لَهُ، لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ أَسْهَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَأَخْرَجَ ثُلُثَهُمْ

✧ A man manumitted in his will six slaves of his, and he had no property other than them. That reached the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he became angry with him. Then he drew lots among them, and brought out one-third of them.
