حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ: نَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْوَقَارُ قَالَ: نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

يَا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، يَا صَفِيَّةُ عَمَّةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ، يَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ، لَا أَعْرِفَنَّ مَا جَاءَ النَّاسُ غَدًا يَحْمِلُونَ الْآخِرَةَ، وَجِئْتُمْ تَحْمِلُونَ الدُّنْيَا، إِنَّمَا أَوْلِيَائِي مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمُتَّقُونَ، إِنَّمَا مَثَلِي فِيكُمْ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ يُسْتَنْصَحُ فِي قَوْمِهِ، أَتَاهُمْ، فَقَالَ: يَا قَوْمِ أُتِيتُمْ غُشِيتُمْ وَاصَبَاحَاهُ، أَنَا النَّذِيرُ، وَالْمَوْتُ الْمُغِيرُ، وَالسَّاعَةُ الْمَوْعِدُ

✧ O Banu Hashim, O Banu 'Abd al-Muttalib, O Safiyyah, paternal aunt of the Messenger of Allah, O Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad, let me not see any of you coming tomorrow carrying the Hereafter while you come carrying the dunya. My allies among you on the Day of Resurrection are only the pious. My example among you is only that of a man whose people seek his sincere advice. He came to them and said: 'O my people, you have been raided! You have been taken by surprise! Woe to the morning! I am the warner, death is the raider, and the Hour is the appointed time.'
