✧ We were on a journey, and I felt lonely at night. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What is the matter with you?' I said: I am in this place on a dark night, and I fear for you. He said: 'No, indeed Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will send us a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and whom Allah and His Messenger love, to guard us for the rest of our night.' She said: While I was like that, I saw a dark figure approaching us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Who is this?' He said: I am Sa'd b. Malik, I have come to guard you for the rest of this night of yours. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laid his head down and slept.
