machine translationMuḥammad b. ʿAjlān narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim, al-Thawrī, Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Qaṭṭān, al-Layth b. Saʿd, Bakr b. Ṣadaqah, Abū Khālid al-Aḥmar and Ṭāriq b. ʿAbdillāh narrated it from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī. There is also disagreement about Abū ʿĀṣim: Yūsuf al-Qaṭṭān narrated it from Abū ʿĀṣim, from Ibn ʿAjlān, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, while others narrate it from Abū ʿĀṣim, from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise Muḥammad b. Abī Ḥumayd al-Anṣārī and Abū Maʿshar narrated it from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the preserved (maḥfūẓ) version.
