حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ قَالَ: نَا شَاذٌّ قَالَ: نَا هَاشِمٌ، عَنْ كِنَانَةَ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ:
دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيَّ أَرْبَعَةُ آلَافِ نَوَاةٍ أُسَبِّحُ بِهِنَّ، فَقَالَ: " يَا بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ، مَا هَذَا ؟ " قُلْتُ: أُسَبِّحُ فِيهِ، قَالَ: " قَدْ سَبَّحْتُ مُنْذُ قُمْتُ عَلَى رَأْسِكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ هَذَا "، فَقُلْتُ: عَلِّمْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: قُولِي: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ entered upon me while in front of me were four thousand date-pits with which I was glorifying God. He said: O daughter of Ḥuyayy, what is this? I said: I am glorifying God with them. He said: I have glorified God since I stood at your head more than this. I said: Teach me, O Messenger of God. He said: Say: Glory be to God by the number of everything He has created.
