حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ قَالَ: نَا شُعَيْثُ بْنُ مُحْرِزٍ قَالَ: نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ
كَانَ فِي يَدِهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ وَرِقٍ، وَكَانَ فَصُّهُ مِنْهُ، وَكَانَ نَقْشُهُ: مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ فِي بَاطِنِ كَفِّهِ، فَدَخَلَ إِلَى بَيْتِ حَفْصَةَ، فَأَلْقَاهُ فِي كُرْهٍ أَوْ مِنْ كُرْهٍ
Translation

✧ He had on his hand a ring of silver, its bezel was of silver, and its inscription was: Muhammad, Messenger of God. The Prophet ﷺ used to turn its bezel to the inside of his palm. Then he entered Hafsah's house and threw it away in aversion or out of aversion.
